I now renounce my association with Christian Zionism. I no longer believe in it. Unfortunately, I was indoctrinated into Christian Zionism by a cult that originated in Birmingham in the 19th century, founded by an English medical doctor and a Scottish newspaper reporter—the Christadelphians. This is actually why I was traveling to Birmingham in the first place: to attend Christadelphian meetings. While I was there, I noticed some graffiti, and as I explored the city, I started documenting what I found.  

I also renounce my association with the Christadelphian faith and reject the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith. It does not accurately represent the original teachings of Dr. John Thomas. Additionally, the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith contains statements that many would consider bigoted. I once showed Clause 22 of the "Doctrines to Be Rejected" to my mental health worker, and their response was that it sounded like the Christadelphians were Nazis.  

What woke me up was my initial support for the state of Israel in its war against Gaza. Over time, I realized that Israel was violating biblical teachings against shedding innocent blood. Nowhere in the Bible does it condone the killing of children, women, or the bombing of hospitals and schools. Yet the Christadelphians constantly tried to justify Israel’s actions. They have double standards: they claim to be conscientious objectors, yet they support Israel financially and politically while defending the actions of its military. Many of them also idolize Donald Trump as some sort of political messiah. These are not the actions of true conscientious objectors.  

Once I realized I was being deceived, I threw all my Christadelphian literature in the bin and stopped supporting the state of Israel. I now call on the good people of Birmingham to hold a peaceful protest outside the offices of the Christadelphian Magazine and Publishing Association to make it clear that you do not support Christian Zionism or the genocidal actions of the state of Israel.
