MONO revisited his 2017 collaborative piece and proceeded to collaborate with himself. Fusing his previous artwork of a lady with a ‘graffiti jam’ pie he layered the piece with a Greek mythological God and a young boy looking up at him. Additional layers of pop art style patterns and imagery the overall look is of a collage style. The images shown here include both the original 2017 collaboration between MONO with traditional graffiti artists KOST, ZOMBY DRAX and NOIR and the updated version now standing

Bring The Paint 2017 Munich based pioneer WON ABC celebrated his dark humour and comic book style with this depiction of pop culture heroes and villains looming over the courtyard of LCB Depot. Won used various shades of the same colour to create a monochrome piece.

Nearby was this complementary super clean piece with equally vivid colours by Roo.

45 RPM‘s work can be found inside a car park / car wash and elsewhere…I hadn’t been to previous incarnations of Bring The Paint so I’m a little unclear on what was new for this year but this first piece looks fresh out of the can.

Bring The Paint 2019 Local music venue The Soundhouse invited Nottingham based artist to bring new vibrancy to a much loved venue as part of Bring The Paint 2017. A tessellated wave pattern pays a subtle nod to the buildings purpose itself whilst the bright colours and graphic style pattern offer an incredible statement wall. This wall was placed in the top 5 of the B&Q statement walls campaign of 2017 further confirming its success

BRING THE PAINT 2019 Vivid colours, dynamic letters and plenty of flow make for an impressive wall on the corner of Jubilee Road as it meets Belgrave Gate. DOES is an artist who sees texture as an important part of the process and his painting reflects this with his use of negative space exposing the texture of the wall. An aesthetically impressive juxtaposition of colour and raw material make this a great example of what DOES is all about.
