Birmingham New Street Station

Navigation Street in Birmingham city centre underwent a makeover as the artwork, representing the community spirit and diversity of sport, was unveiled.

Located just outside New Street Station, two walls were splattered with vibrant pinks, yellows and oranges.

The mural's launch coincides with the official search for 2,022 baton bearers for the Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay in England

Renowned Birmingham street artist Gent 48, Josh Billingham, transformed the wall.

The mural also showcased Haseebah Abdullah, England's first hijab-wearing boxing coach and Salma Bi, who founded the first all Asian women’s cricket team.
