Short Street is based in the city centre just by St Margarets Bus Station. It is only the wooden hoardings that are to be painted. The opposite wall is not legal to paint and you may be prosecuted for doing so. There is CCTV on site to enforce this restriction so please be conscious of this.

Being such a central location this site receives a lot of pedestrian and vehicle traffic so please be aware of this at all times and respect the access requirements when painting

ALEX RUBES

27 YEOMEN STREET, LEICESTER, LE1 1UT

Bring The Paint 2019 Following the success of Alex’s Soundhouse wall during Bring The Paint 2017 2019 brought new challenges for the master of tessellation. Given a complex wall to paint with the various depths and layers most artists might steer clear of repetitive tessellation. Instead Alex Rubes created this striking Art Deco themed pattern to revitalise a tired looking wall with complete style

LCBDEPOT Bring The Paint 2017 Internationally renowned Australian artist SMUG created this stunning stylised photo realism piece depicting a friend of his with various image based references to the character of the subject. Painting this piece with just an image on his phone for reference SMUG wowed audiences and cemented his position as one of the best in his field.

The front of LCBDepot enjoyed additional artwork this time by GENT who has established himself as one of the UK’s finest exports. Bright and vibrant pink lifts this loose character out of the brickwork on the exterior of a creative depot
